The Reef & Rainforest Carnivale is a time
when visitors and locals join in and
celebrate life in the tropics, its
pleasures, culture, wine and cuisine.
9 days of excitement and entertainment the
last days of May.
The Links Golf Club and Mirage Country Club
will join forces and hold The 2006 Port
Douglas Golf Challenge. There will be
popular favourites like the Carnivale
Masquerade Cocktail Party, the Macrossan
Street Parade, the Court House Hotel
Fireworks Spectacular, Marina Mirage Longest
Lunch, the Four Mile Beach Family Fun day,
Marina Mirage Seafood Extravaganza, Food
Wine & a Taste of Port and the Mask
Competition.
Sail in the Clipper Cup Regatta or if it’s
the arts you enjoy, there’s the Port Douglas
Gallery and Kuku Yalanji Art Exhibitions.
For sports followers enjoy the Carnivale
Tennis Cup, Cycle Criterium, Golf Challenge,
Fishing Competition and Yachting Regatta.
On Sunday morning, everyone heads to the
Marina Mirage where the local fishermen and
restaurants provide an exciting selection of
fresh local seafood, a selection to satisfy
the most discerning palate. While away the
hours with fabulous entertainment and say
goodbye to Carnivale in style.
